Free
The colognes were free and I got $.50 overage on each. Walmart had the cologne at 50% off so they were $1.50 and I used this coupon http://www.danaclassics.com/dana-ad.pdf
The Duck packing tape was $1 at Walmart and I used their $1/1 coupon which made it free.
The Idahoan potatoes were each free with coupons from All You Magazine.
The candles were $2 each and I used the $1.50/2 coupons from coupons.com I printed before Christmas. Then I used the overage on the colognes and a gallon a milk. It was a fun shopping trip.
My Flowers
This is my Christmas floral arrangement that I put together 10 days ago and still looking great! Walmart's $10 flowers do it again!
My Best Friend
This was taken the other day when we exchanged gifts. We have been best friends since 8th grade. We have been through everything together.. my maid of honor, god mother to my daughter and a shoulder to cry on and laugh with.

Christmas 2011
Here is a photo of my Christmas tree... I don’t know what is wrong with me, but I just have the huge urge to take all the Christmas down and put it away... I’m trying to resist. We’ll see. So I took the picture before it’s too late...
This is my grandma who is 99 years young...
Everyone for Christmas Eve
This what we do on Holidays.. play Deer Drive on the Wii
I hope everyone had a great Christmas as I did!

The Day Before Christmas Eve
Today I went to the grocery store... it was a mad house. I'm ready except for the last minute cleaning and cooking. It's finally snowing... it feels much more like Christmas. For some reason I just wasn't feeling it this year. I didn't make any candy. I only made cut out cookies because Nicci insisted. Maybe thats it. I don't know.
Mom and I went for walks every day this week because the temps were above 35 degrees, this is very rare for the week before Christmas.
Tomorrow, my mom, my brother and his son and girl friend are joining us for supper. Christmas Day we are going to visit my grandma. Then go to Marks parents and then watch the football game. Oh mom will be coming for lunch her. We are going to have pork chops on the grill because it's suppose to get over 40 degrees.
I can't wait for the kids to open their gifts they should be very very happy this year! They are both getting exactly what they asked for.
Today night we are going out for pizza and look at Christmas lights. Should be fun with the new snow. Christmas is the only time that I don't complain about snow.
Merry Christmas!

Happy Turkey Day!
Happy Thanksgiving...
I got up yesterday morning and I saw that Target Black Friday deals were already available online. Yes... I know I'm still boycotting that store, however I wanted to ensure that I got the most important items on my list, bought. Nicci and Philip wanted bigger things and Best Buy, Walmart and Target all had the same items for the same price. So I decided that security of getting what I wanted was more important then my boycott. I ordered them and all seems well. If they cancel my order there will be *ell to pay. Because I and my friend decided not to go at midnight that leaving at our normal time was ok would still net us the items that we want. There isn't anything remaining on my list I can't live without if supplies are depleted.
We decided that the midnight opening isn't right. I think stores opening at 4 or 5 in the morning leaves Thanksgiving as a holiday. By moving it to midnight invades the holiday. And it does. I had my mom and my inlaws over for Thanksgiving supper and that was all day to get ready. I'm blasted tired. But of course I'm up early to catch up on the deals I might look for (people are already posting their stories)
Well wish us luck... Happy Black Friday

Unmeasured Strength by Lauren Manning
It is very rare to find a book about a survivor that was injured inside the Twin Towers. This is the story of a strong woman that had just stepped into the tower when it swayed from the planes impact. A moment later she was engulfed with blames from a fireball that shot out from the elevators. She had burns to 80% of her body. She lost some of fingers but she recovered and is stronger now then on 9-11. Its a powerful story that was up lifting and easily related to. She was just going about her day like any of us and this horrible act happened to her and the rest of the country.

Wednesday Deals Update
I have not been posting my Wednesday Deals for a while for lots of reasons. First reason is I haven't been getting the deals as I used to. Reasons for that is well I have boycotting Target since March so I haven't been getting the clearance items for cheap or free any more. Next the coupons in my area have been really awful. Plus we have been eating different~ healthier. Back 6 months ago I was told I am a boarder line diabetic and elevated cholesterol. I had gained a lot weight because of the hysterectomy and that I quit smoking. So it was time to get fit and lose some weight. I bought a Wii Fit and I started using my exercise bike regular. I don't care what anyone says eating health does cost more. I carefully watch sales on fresh fruit and vegetables. However since they say we are suppose to eat 5 servings a day not all fruits and vegetables purchased can be on sale so the cost adds up. I shop every week at Aldi they do have the best fruit and vegetables. Their prices are reasonable but still have to shop the sales and be careful. Now my husband has been told he is a diabetic so now I have to really switch all of the shopping and I cook completely different. I donated stuff from my stock pile that we can't eat. My stock pile is evolving. Fat Free and Sugar Free items are very expensive. So I don't stockpile products like cooking soups and baking supplies anymore. Even when I find a good deal on like olive oil it's not free. Olive oil is expensive even with a coupon and doubled it's not even what I call cheap. Or like fat free cream cheese or shredded cheese never goes on sale. Price these products, its shocking how expensive they are. So my deals are changing, fewer and sometimes not worth talking about. I'm still mastering this new way of shopping.
And yes I did lose weight. I lost over 50 pounds, now I weigh less then I did before I stopped smoking and had my surgery. I'm still trying to lose weight. 15 pound more and I will be right were I want to be. These pounds are harder to lose then the first 30. I'm in size 8 jeans.. I haven't been in those in about 16 years so it's fun to go shopping now...

Red Plum Coupon insert
I just cut the coupons from last Sunday Oct 30, 2011. I was shocked and surprised that in the Red Plum insert which was about the right thickness for a normal week there was only one manufacturers coupon.
Yup this is the only coupon in the 12/24 pages
What a disappointment!
I did get the Tide $2 coupon and it's good on the trial size at Walmart, which is $.99 and you get to keep the overage! Nice!

It's been a while
This is what I did on Saturday
Stride for Breast Cancer Walk at Lambeau field.
This is our team. It is made up of mostly my inlaws. My sister inlaw was diagnosed with aggressive breast cancer 2 months ago. It was a fun day even though is was very windy. The back ground the photo is Lambeau Field where the Packers play!
Friday my basement had 2 inches of water in it because our sump pump stopped working and we didn't know it. I lost some of my inventory. Most items that weren't listed yet. I lost all my huge boxes I was going to use for my Christmas blowmolds. I was saving them all year long because they huge boxes are hard to find. Grr!!
My desk top is in the shop now for 2 weeks. So all my photos and favorites... oh everything is on that computer. So it's really hard for me to blog, list on ebay and in my store. I called today and the person working on it has been very busy with work and she has no time to figure out what the trouble it. So I'm missing it like you wouldn't believe.
The weekend before last Mom and I sold at the flea market. We made half of what we did the last time. I don't know why.
The weekend before that I part of my aunts annual rummage sale. I did really well, sold alot of stuff.
The weekend before that we were at Jefferson for the carshow and swap meet.
The weekends for Jefferson and the rummage sale was cold and raining. The weekend for the flea market was warm, almost 80 degrees. It wind started last Friday and it's still windy... it's strange weather that doesn't seem to go away.
My calendar seems a little clearer... except for Halloween. So I'm hoping I can get back to my blogging routine... Still wish I had my desk top back... oh well
