Joyful Noise Dolly Parton

I finally got a chance to watch Joyful Noise.  It was good but the editing was horrible.  Big gaps, it didn't flow well.  The gaps seemed like we missed big chunks of story.  The biggest distraction was this

 Granted she is older now then when this photo was taken.  But could normal aging be worse then what she looks like after surgery?  But she is not alone

Aging is hard..  I know, however these stars are extremely hard to watch.  It's distraction.  Whats the first thing that goes through my mind when I see them.  Why did they do this?  They can't be broke and can't retire.  Then I wonder how old are they.  Gee I can remember them all from the 70's.  So how old were they then and it's 2012 and I go to work figuring...  Of course then I'm not paying any attention to the movie or the interview they are doing.  Is it worth it for them to do this surgery rather age naturally?  I don't know?  Would they work if they looked their age?  I don't know.  I would like to say yes...  Betty White is 90 years old and is still working.  She doesn't look like she has any surgery and she is higher on the A list now then she has ever been. 

You go girl!!!

Motorola Electrify Cell Phone

Last Saturday I got a new phone.  Our cellphone service was Verizon's Alltel.  A few years ago Verizon bought Alltel.  I cried when that happened.  My parents had Verizon and their coverage was horrible and the service was expensive.  But since I had a contract with Alltel, Verizon had to keep my costs the same which was much cheaper.  With that however we had to buy used Alltel phones when we needed new phones.  When I bought my Blackberry Storm however I did upgrade to Verizon service but I did not have to sign a contract and the price stayed the same except for the price of the data service $30.  Well around Christmas time I started to not get all my phone calls.  I would be sitting next to the phone and it wouldn't ring.  I was told by the callers that it wouldn't ring it would go straight to voice mail.  That was the only way I would know I got a call was to look at the phone and see the voice mail message.  I went to the store and they said kept saying to update the towers.  So I would update the phone and it didn't help.  Then about a month ago my kids started to complain about the same thing.  Well then 2 weeks ago I was waiting for my daughter to call so I could pick her up from work.  I called her twice and she called me once and none of those calls went through.  She ended up calling her brother to pick her up while I was still waiting.  This set me off. So I called Verizon.  I told my story twice that first day and then for the next 3 days to 3 more people and the problem didn't get solved.  I was mad just because I had to retell the story and get mad all over again and it did nothing.  So Saturday I took the kids and we went to US Cellular.  I got the Motorola Electrify.....

I love it.  It's fun and it does everything.  I have been taking time to look at the tutorials and truly learning everything about this phone.  It's so much easier then the Blackberry Storm plus there are Android Apps for everything!  Blackberry has nothing for apps free or paid!!!  It's so much faster too.  I hated waiting for the internet on The Storm.  On The Electrify it's quick.  Not lightning, but mighty fast.  It's only 3G but it's good enough for me...  compared to what I had... man I'm getting whiplash!  Plus I can use the house Wifi and its setup automatically so every time I walk in the house it goes to our house WiFi which saves the 5g of internet I get through the phone.   The kids also have internet on their phones.  My son though has the Motorola Quantico which is a water proof phone not a smartphone.  He is really rough on phones so a Smartphone won't last for him.  My daughter got the Huawei smartphone.  She really likes it..  of course she would she and her brother upgraded from old Motorola Razrs. 

I'm very satisfied with my US Cellular plan.  It's 3 phones with unlimited text, 1500 minutes and 5g of data.  Nights start at 7:00pm. All in coming calls are free. The plan has battery exchange up to 4 times a month.  Plus there is a reward program.  It's all for about the same as what I was paying before. 

I can't say a bad thing about the Motorola Electrify..  I will try to do another review in a few months..  will I feel the same?

Horrible Bosses Movie

I was looking forward in seeing this movie.  The potential of being a great movie with all the fantastic stars that are in this movie.  Boy was I wrong.  Neither my husband or I could finish watching this movie.  Very boring and couldn't follow it.  We wasted 45 minutes trying to figure it out before we each gave up.  We each grabbed a lap top and then turned it off.  

A Stolen Life Jaycee Dugard

Defiantly worth reading.  

 Jaycee was kidnapped by Philip and his wife Nancy as she walked to the bus stop when she was 11 years old.  Jaycee was kept in buildings and tents in a hidden back yard for 19 years.  She was Philips sex slave when he went on his drug "runs"  He told her that needed her so that he wouldn't hurt other women.  Jaycee gave birth by the time she was 14 and again 2 years later.  

He was the only person she had contact with for years and he provided her with everything.  Food, water and company.  This was his way to teach her to be under his control.

I've seen lots of interviews and talk about her rescue but the real stuff is said in this book.  She is so amazing to have lived through what she has and still be able to go on.  She doesn't go into second by second details, but she does tell about what happened to her.  Jaycee explains why she didn't try to run or reach out for someone to rescue her.  It makes more sense to me now that I have read the book and understand more about the monster that kidnapped her.  I will truly never understand Philip's wife Nancy.  First helping kidnap Jaycee, then being jealous of her and then wanting Jaycee and the children to call her mother. Nancy was nutter then Philip for going along with for that length of time.  How do two crazy people like Philip and Nancy meet in the first place and have a relationship last that long???  It's frightening how a team like that can go on and on and city government let it happen.  I pray that Jaycee and her family can find pure happiness and continue to move on as a healthy family. 

Bosch SHE43F16UC Dishwasher It's been a Year

It been a year with my Bosch  .  It doesn't feel like it's been a year.  I still love it and I learned a lot about it.  First I had stock piled dishwasher tabs when ever I could get them for free months before I even I had a dishwasher.  So I was using these tab up until late fall.  Well then I had to buy some and of course I got some free or for pennies and thats when trouble began.  My dishes were coming out with a white powdery streaks on them.  I was using Finish tabs and Finish Rinse this was Bosch user book said worked best and it did until my stock pile ran out.  I bought the same product but the powder seemed to stick to all the glasses and any item that boiled water or was in boiling water.  Like my pots and black spoons.  My black glasses we horrible and I didn't want to drink out of them  I had to wash everything in vinegar to get rid of the white streaks.  I stopped putting my black nylon spoons and such in the dish washer.  Hint when this happens I would wipe them down with vegetable oil and then hand wash them and it restored them to looking new.  However most of my pots are still white.   I googled the problem and the first thing that came up was hard water.  And yes we have very hard water and we have a water softener.  I had hubby check it and it was working fine.  So the next thing that was talked about was using to much detergent.  Well thats not the case because I'm use the tabs its all measured out.  However they also talked about how manufacturers had to change the formula of the detergent because  the government banned phosphorus.  That is one of the ingredients and I guess without it I get white powdery streaks on my dishes.  I really had it bad because most of my dishes and equipment is black.   I bought liquid that didn't work.  I used my tabs and vinegar as a rinse and that didn't work.  I used liquid and vinegar that didn't work.  So then I realized  the inside of the dishwasher probably also had a build up but I couldn't see that.  I was running vinegar in my empty dishwasher once a month, but I needed something more of a cleaner.  So I bought Finish Dishwasher cleaner.  Actually I bought 2 and I ran them through right after each other in the longest cycle.  And that did the trick.  I still was seeing the build up start again.  So I bought the Finish gel packs.  That was the thing!!  But I have all of these tabs I got stock piled again.  My solution is I run a gel pack and tab every other time and I don't use a rinse.  I fill a measuring cup with 4 oz of vinegar, set it in the bottom rack every time I run the dishwasher and I have not had one problem since!!  I run a Finish dishwasher cleaner through once a month.  I think this works for this dishwasher and our water.  I don't know if this would work for you.  I think everyone has to try different things to see what works for you. 

I don't have any issues with the dishes coming clean aside from the white powder issue I was having.  Once in a while something will come out dirty but it is because someone loaded the dishwasher wrong.  Like a bowl right side up or 2 plates in the same slot.  It's amazes me that the kids really think it's gonna come clean when they load it that way.

I was really worried about how much the electric bill was going to go up.  Well I didn't see a difference in our bill.  The first 6 months I ran it on the Pot Scrubber cycle which is over a 100 minutes.  That is a long time.  So I had to get everything in there from the entire day or still do some dishes that didn't fit.  Well then I thought I'm going to try the quick cycle which is just under 30 minutes and guess what it cleans the almost as well as the pot scrubber cycle.  If I have some really tough pots and pans they won't come out clean but the typical dirty dishes including dried melted cheese comes right off in the shorter cycle.  With the shorter cycle I run it more then once a day.  So I don't have to pack it so tight and the kids can throw in dishes with less worry about getting it wrong and it will come out clean.  I don't have to worry so much about the electricity.  If I run it twice a day on the shorter cycle it still is less runny time then one of the pot scrubber cycle.  We have a well so I have no clue if the dishwasher uses to much water.

Another concern that I had was moisture in the house from the heat from the dishwasher.  From the research I did before went looking for a dishwasher that the Bosch was the best for less moisture.  The stainless interior really promotes drying and it doesn't have a heating element on the bottom so there isn't a drying cycle.   I have not had an issue with spots, no matter if I take the glasses out when the cycle ends and they are still warm or if I take out the glasses 2 hours after the cycle.  However plastic containers don't dry well.  Most because of the rim, water sits in the rim.  So I do have to dry my plastic containers with a towel.  I have not found any more moisture on my windows in the winter after running the dishwasher.  I did look at other models like Kitchen Aid (comparable price) and they did have some really cool bells and whistles that my Bosch model didn't have but the Bosch rep of great cleaning and drying I was sold.

Some of my logos on coffee mugs and any paint on glasses have come off because of the dishwasher.  Now when I buy new items I pay attention if it is dishwasher safe.  I never did that before because I didn't have a dishwasher.

Would I buy this model again? yes.  Would I tell my friends and family to buy this model? yes.

The style is very good.  They mention DIY but there isn't lot of how to diy.  But its very possible to do some of it yourself.  So of the examples are pricey tho.  Still it's a great magazine to page through for new ideas.  I like it.  I will be looking at the next issue.  Isn't that funny how I stated that..  "looking at"  have you noticed that there is so  little text to go with all the beautiful pictures in magazines lately.  No reading needed!!!  Go check it out  lonnymag.com

This Weeks Deal - HP G Series Laptop From Best Buy Review

I didn't do a lot of shopping this week.

Target Finish Gel Tabs are on sale for  $2.50 and I had one $2.25 that my aunt received in her Sunday inserts.  I didn't get these great coupons in ours.  I ended up with a 20 count box for $2.24 plus tax.

  Finish dishwasher cleaner was on sale for $2.59 and I had a $1/1 coupon from the Sunday inserts and a $1 off Target coupon.  Vaseline lotion is on sale for $3.69 and I had a $1 coupon from the Sunday inserts.  My dove body mist was on sale for $3.27 and I got more of these coupons from my aunt and Target has the scent I like.  Nexxus shampoo is $8.69 not on sale can you believe it?  But I needed a really good shampoo so I splurged, but I had a $3 off coupon from a home mailer.  I also bought some paper dessert plates that were on clearance for $1.49.  I spent $12 and I saved $15.

Walmart this week Nestle water has the 28 packs back again for $2.88.  Aspargus $1.48 price matched with Pick n Save ad.  That was the only item I wanted or need from Pick n Save so I didn't go this week there.  Walmart has tons of stuff on clearance.  See what I bought....

I stopped at Aldis which I haven't been doing.  I got milk, eggs, bananas, oranges (these are so good, I went back and got 2 more bags) cantaloupe, bread and tortilla chips. 

I went shopping on Wednesday and the high temperature was 1 degree, so I put off getting gas until the next day.  Well gas was $3.09 on Wednesday it was $3.14 on Thursday! and the temperature was 2 below 0!!! Man was I unhappy but then I was in town on Friday and guess what????  Gas was back to $3.09!!  now with the Egypt revolution over (hopefully) gas is going back down.  But let me tell you it seems like a really bad joke on me!!!  Anyway the reason I was in town so often this week is I bought this

Now everyone in the house has a computer.  Philip would sit and wait for him dad to be done with the latop..  but usually it was Philip waiting for his dad to fall asleep and then carefully remove the lap top without waking him..  It was a cute little joke in the house.  I really did want an extra computer so we can hook up the laptop to the TV so we can watch TV over the internet.  We don't have cable so now we can see some of the stuff the rest of the world is seeing on the big TV.    This is my first HP laptop, all our desk tops are HP and I won't buy any other brand for desktops.  However our other lap top is a Toshiba and we have had great luck with that.  This HP G62-4570X was a great price and it has a webcam, HDMI port.  I had it optimized at Best Buy to take the bloatware off.  I installed Avast free antivirus which was a breeze and so was the HP wireless printer software.  I made my own restore disk too.  I had this up and running in less then an hour... how things have changed in the last 12-13 years that I've had a computer.  I remember downloading Microsoft updates on dial up that would take an entire day to do!!!  So far I really like it.  No serious complaints.  I don't like the touch pad.  There is no scrolling feature.  Its really hard to get used to especially when reading blogs and my google reader.  But I guess I will get used to it.  And I knew this computer didn't have this feature before I bought so I can't make a fuss about it.  And the other thing is the keys seem loose/wiggly or kind of cheap compared to the Toshiba.   I also bought the extended 2 year warranty.  I normally don't buy these but with the lap tops it must have.  The 2 year deal includes everything except for droppage and abuse.  But the best part is you get one replacement battery free someone during the 2 years.  Nice... laptop batteries are expensive!  The laptop was $399 and the warranty was $99.  Best Buy has a buy back program and since I bought it this week the buy back program is free.  Other wise it would have been $70.  This is the craziest program ever.  I think having to pay for it is not right.   Ok if I would turn in my laptop in 6 months I would $200 back.  But if I waited 2 years I would only $80 back no matter if it works or not.  Plus if I would actually have paid for the program $70 that doesn't come out very good.   However down the road 2 year what will it cost to dispose of a non working laptop is a good question.  But for now there is no way I would spend the money and I'm lucky it was free for me...  however 2 years from now I will probably still using this laptop, just like our other one is almost 3 years old and there is nothing wrong with it, up until yesterday hubby and first born were fighting for it!  LOL! 

Hey this after noon the temperature was 33 degrees.  I took Henry outside to play with Shelby and the snow.

High Gloss Magazine is a new online magazine. 

It has great style however not for the thrifty low budget price.  There is a gorgeous chaise on page 25.  Go check it out!  

I won't be subscribing to the magazine it's a bit to high end for me. 

This Weeks Coupon Deals & Purina Carvers Review

Walmart have these on Christmas clearance

Yummy soft (like dinner mints) Candy Canes $.22 each.  My daughter made the card on left for me.  The photo of the Christmas Balls in a basket was part of our Christmas Decor this year.  She took the photo and make the card in Photography class she is taking this semester.  Talent.

Anyhoo.  I also picked up M&M's for $.62.  Walmart has nothing but candy left for their Christmas clearance.  Olay 2 bars are regular price of $2.48 and I used a $2 coupon that was in the P&G Sunday inserts a few weekends ago. 

Festival Foods had their Christmas candy on clearance.  Rolo's for $1.50 no coupon.  Store brand chili beans $.48 each, store brand spaghetti noodles $.48, store brand pasta sauce $.68, bag of chicken breasts $3.98, half gallon of chocolate milk $.88 and store brand wheat bread $.49 with in ad coupons.  They also had bakery bread $.99 on sale.  Spent $15 saved $18

Pick N Save 10 Knorr side dishes $1 each and used a in ad coupon for $5 off a deli chicken when you bought the 10 side dishes.  So $.99 for a deli chicken.  6 Breadsticks on sale for $.99.  They had these

on clearance for $1.49 each.  I had 3 coupons for $1.50 off one page of Purina Carvers that were expiring that DAY!! Yeah!!  I could use them to get 3 packages free!!  O...K... your saying... you get free things all the time.  Yeah I do, but these are the dogs VERY favorite treat of all time.  They love these.  When you open the bag they actually smell like human food!!  My dogs would lay down and die for these!!  OK..  they would lay down and play dead!!  LOL!  I hope they are not discontinuing these because my dogs will be heart broken.  Hope it's just Pick N Save that will just stop carrying them.

Anyhoo...  I also bought Freshlike frozen vegetables on sale for $1 on sale and used $1/2 doubled so free.  Store brand cheese on sale for $.99.  Ronzoni pasta $1 each and used a coupon I printed from either coupons.com or smartsource can't remember which site.  But the coupon was for $1/2 and it was doubled so free.  Palermo Pizza's are $6.99 each is regular price but they are buy one and get one free this week.  Plus they have $1/1 coupons on the shelf for these so I used 2 and they were doubled.  So I got both pizza's for $2.99... nice!!  Spent $22 saved $38.

Then  I stopped at Office Max.  I needed colored ink and they had a paper bag in the Sunday paper for 20% anything you can fit into the bag (however they don't use the bag, they recycle them.. very strange idea not to actually use them) but any way I bought my ink and did a run through the store for clearance.  Check out what I found on clearance..

No not the clock or the metal leaf.  Its the Mustang computer mouse!!  I loved it.  I had to have it.  I rarely do an impulse purchase like this.  It was on clearance for $20, down from $29.99.  I put it in the bag so I got 20% off.  I had a gift card from a Max Reward a few months ago on ink.  Plus I had some Max Rewards from turning in ink cartridges and points.  So the ink and the car didn't cost me anything out of pocket!  Now I have to take the computer apart to hook up my new Ford Mustang GT!!!  So excited!

Sprinkle top with brown sugar and pecans. Chill till ready to use. This makes a large amount. It may be cut in half, using about 3 cups whole grapes with half of other ingredients.

Yum everyone loves this salad.  Also at Walmart I price matched Piggly Wiggly ad for 2 liter bottles of Mountain Dew for $.69 each.  Awesome price!!  Jello pudding $.68 each and used buy one get one free coupon that I got a few weeks ago from a store display.  Price matched Festival Foods shredded cheese $.99 and butter for $.99. Target had Tide Stain Release Tablets $2.78 and I had $1/1 coupon from the Sunday inserts.  I've already tried them and I didn't see any difference in my husband and kids work clothes.  They still had plenty of stains.  The tablets have a dissolvable outer coating that scared me.  I was worried they wouldn't' dissolve and it would plug up the washer, causing a flood.  But it didn't.  Target also had Tresemme shampoo on clearance $1.75 and I had a $.50 coupon that I don't know where from.  2 pack towels on clearance $2.08.  These are not fluffy huge towels, but for a $1 each they are great extra towel. Pick N Save had the same items on this week as last.  I didn't buy anything different besides the Glade holiday glass candles.  The regular price was $3.39 which was 50% off and I used $1/1 that I printed from coupons.com and from the Sunday inserts.  I spent $15 and saved $32.

Bad Ass by Shannen Doherty

This is not the best book I have ever read.  If your looking for dirty on this Bad Ass  your not going to get in this book.  Your not going to get explanations of her actions.  You will get that everything she does is about her being a bad ass.  She does give a little information about her childhood, however it is very little.  It's about every move she makes is looked upon being a Bad Ass.  She gives lots of tips on being thrifty and a smart shopper.  There are recipes that she uses when she entertains.  Which she loves to entertain and on a budget.  It's a fast but rather boring read.

Late Late at Night by Rick Springfield

I finally finished it last night.  It was ok, seemed long, but full of content.  I don't know if that makes sense to you..  maybe I can put it this way.  It was full of information page after page, but I couldn't wait to get to the end.  There were huge gaps in time.  One chapter was 3 years and the kids suddenly were grown up and moved out of the house.  They went from being very little to in their mid twenties and nothing in between.  Now I understand how children might not want their lives told in their parents book.  But a comment here or there to make sure they were still alive would have been nice.  His wife B or Barbara was mentioned throughout the book.  Any way this is it...

This book is about a soap star slash rocker from the early 80's.  His wife  is a saint for putting up with his numerous affairs.  I was surprised to read about the number of CD's he has recorded and released.  I only knew about 3 of them.  He has recorded at least 12 of them over the years.. news to me.  I'm not surprised by the many sexual encounters, drinking and even the drug use.  I'm glad to read that he didn't need rehab to get these issues under control.  The depression was a big surprise and he didn't have years of therapy to keep it in check.  As a teenager he tried to hang himself.  I'm glad the rope broke and he survived.  I only wish at that time he would have gotten help.  But he did seek doctors help but only many years later.  Over all the book is good and I know more about his love for all dogs then his children.  If you remember Jessie's Girl and Dr Noah Drake you should read this book.

Office Max

On October 26 I placed an order at Officemax.com for 2 XL ink cartridges.  My total was $73 which was enough for their deal to get a $15 gift card free with my order and free shipping.  To my surprise my order came delivered to my house in less then 24 hours.  I was impressed.  However I was extremely busy so I dropped the package by my computer unopened.  When I did have time to open it I realized I did not get the gift card with my order.  So instead of calling the number on the receipt I brought it to the store thinking I would get quick service.  Oh no...  I was told at the store they have no knowledge of what deals they have online.  Oh really this deal was advertised in their flier, but they have no idea what the deal is!!  Ok so I stood at the service desk and called the number on the receipt and the nice woman that answered the phone, told me the gift cards are being mail separately.  Really?  Why did it not say that on the receipt or on the website when I placed my order???  Why is the gift card not mailed with the rest of the order??  She couldn't tell me, she did say that most of her phone calls were from customers wondering where their card gift were?  Why would Office Max do this to themselves and their customers.  Wouldn't have it been easier if they would have it stated when placing the order and on the receipt that the gift cards would be mailed separately?  I was not happy about the time I had put in to finding out where my money was.  Yesterday, 10 days after the order was placed I did actually receive the gift card.  I will think twice on placing another order like this one.  Why do you ask because as a customer I have to remember that it's coming separate on my own.  They could easily just not send it or be "lost in the mail" and I would be out the money.  The gift card was the incentive to buy my ink from them.  Other wise I could have easily bought the same ink $2 cheaper at Walmart. 

The Talk

The Talk is a new talk show with Sharon Osbourne, Julie Chen, Sara Gilbert, Leah Remini and Holly Robinson Peette.  I like it so far.  I think the group needs to talk more among themselves, so we can get to know them.  We only know them as their characters they plays.  Course with the exception of Sharon Osbourne, whom we know for the reality show the Osbourne, The X Factor, America's Got Talent and of course the short lived The Sharon Osbourne Show, whom we all feel like we know personally.  Do I have time to be a loyal watcher?  There is only so many talk shows a person can watch or follow.  I used to be a loyal watcher of The View and I rarely watch it any more.  The reason I'm not sure...  maybe just because I have other things I want to do in the day.  When The Vew gets headlines I usually just go to You Tube and watch what ever segment that is getting attention.  Like last week when Whoopie and Joy walked off the stage because of  Bill O'Reilly's calling Muslims the group behind 911 attacks.  I didn't watch that day I caught up on You Tube.  So will I be loyal with The Talk probably not.  As I'm writing this they are talking about when should you talk to your children about sex.  First they didn't take this topic as seriously as I think the topic should be.  Is this a topic a good topic for their opening show... probably not.  We as viewers need to get to know the group better before these types of topics should be talked about.  JMHO  I will watch tomorrow because Jennifer Lopez!

The Nate Show has been on for about a month now.  I don't watch everyday, but I do like the show.  I do have some things I need to talk about.  Like today I was disappointed,  Nothing really happened on the show.  I like Sally Field, who was his guess star, but why was she on the show.  They said that she has issues about letting items go because she wants to to down size.  We didn't see her house or her issues.  She talked about nothing really..  Nate then had a woman on that had issues with decorating her dinning room.  She hosting Thanksgiving since her grandmother is unable to continue the tradition.  So Nate gave her a dinning room table.  Which was lovely but it seemed like something was missing.  Giving things away to viewer is not a show in the making.  If he was to review a item on the show and then gave this item away to the audience would be interesting.  There is just something missing.  He had is mother on this morning on skype.  She seems like a lovely lady, but Nate is always talking about her, maybe to much.  Maybe she should be his costar on the show to give the show whats missing or what Nate is missing!

My New Camera Sony Cyber Shot H 55

Yesterday I was taking pictures for ebay and my camera wasn't taking good pictures..  Everything was coming out blurry.  I had noticed this  the last week or two that taking photos at night was getting harder to get a clear shot.  Well yesterday none of the pictures were clear, even during the day.  So I took my items outside since it's to nice and the sun is out.  Well, that didn't work all the pictures from outside were white.  I couldn't see even a shadow of the item.  So I jumped in the van and went right to Best Buy and bought a new camera.  They had plenty of cameras on clearance but I wanted the best camera for night shots.  I'm so sick of retakes for ebay and when I have an event at night the pictures were not turning out.  So I bought the top of the line Sony Point and Shoot that Best Buy had.  The price was $229 but it came with a extra battery, 4G memory card and a case.  This stuff was a $55 value.  Nothing wrong with that.  I had $125 in Best Buy rewards from my credit card I put the balance on my card so I will get 4 points per dollar.  Yea!  I might have gotten a better deal online somewhere, but I needed a camera last night.  My daughters camera died a month ago or so, so I couldn't use hers and I wanted to work on ebay...  but I needed a camera.  I was very very sad to say good bye to my old camera, we have been together through it all...  We started together on ebay together and through how many Christmas's birthdays etc..

I will do a better or a full review on this camera once I get used to it.  But these are my reasons for buying this camera.  The shutter speed is fast which helps with action and night time photos.  The night time photos are very important to me.  So far so good.  It comes with a rechargeable battery.  I liked my last camera because it has a similar set up and I it held a charge along time.  So that was the reason I like the battery it comes with, plus I got the bundle I mentioned before.   The battery door is sturdy and easy to use.  Not like the Easyshare camera's I hate the battery door, I feel like I'm going to break it off so that is why I didn't even consider the Easyshare cameras.  It has a 3 inch screen and it's a panoramic camera.  I haven't used that yet but it sounds really cool.  I have probably taken 50 photos on it so far and the only thing I found wrong with it is.  The handle strap gets in the picture.  I had never put my handle strap on my old camera so I'm not used to it.  So that and Henry getting his head my photos are the only reason I had to retake any of the photos so far.  Nothing really having to do with the camera.

Wednesday Deals & Mr Clean Erasers

Pick N Save: Mr Clean Eraser on sale for 2/$4 and I used $1/1 coupon from last Sundays inserts which were doubled so free!!  My quick opinion of the Mr Clean Eraser..  they are awesome!!  I love em and I will never be without them when I'm cleaning.  The eraser is actually a sponge.  Before I use one of these I cut them in half.  Other wise if you wring it out it will rip in half.  So I just it in half so I actually have 2.  If I have a small job I rinse and reuse.  They remove crayon, soap scum and so much more.  If you have a tough cleaning job grab one of these..  you will be amazed!!

Ok moving on... here are more of the deals from Pick N Save..Kool Aid Fun Frizz $1.84 used $1/1 coupon from the Sunday inserts which were doubled...  so free.  Fisher Nut Toppings $2.19  no coupon....  Roundy's pail of ice cream $3.99 with store coupon.  Roundy's butter $1.69 with store coupon.  Phily cream cheese $.99 with coupon.  Spent $14 and saved $17.  Second trip into Pick N Save: bread $.99 no coupon, just needed bread.  Buns $.49 with store coupon.  Mt Dew $2 a 12 pack. Kelloggs,  Keebler cookies and crackers $1.88 when you bought 8.  So I bought 4 cookies and used $1/2 coupon and $.75/1 Flat bread crackers  bought 3 and 2 pop tarts used $1/2 coupon and they were all doubled.  Oh have you tried the Flat bread crackers... OMG they are great, very yummy.. no need for any topping... straight out of the box....  good!  So spent $18 and saved $32!!

Walgreens had Soft Scrub body wash $.99 after register reward, had to buy 2.  I used $1/1 coupon from All You magazine and $.75 I printed from ??  not sure where.  Carmex pink lip gloss free after register rewards.

Target: Mt Dew on sale for $1.99 and I had 4 coupons $1/1 that I printed from target.com  weeks ago. So I paid $.99 a 12 pack.  This was unadvertized deal, if I would have known I would not have bought the 12 pks at Pick N Save.  But no worries they kids will drink it.  Also bought Glade Soy candles on clearance for $.74 and I used $1/1 but they only took off the $.74 each.  I love these candles!!  

Office Max Filler paper for a penny a piece limit of 3 so I bought 3.  They also had notebooks for a nickel a piece but they didn't have any wide ruled so I didn't buy any of those.  I also bought Lightscribe DVD discs on sale for $24.99 for a 50 pack!  

Walmart highlights!!!  White Cloud 4 roll TP $2 used $1/1 coupon from All You Magazine.  They still have Nestle water 28 pk for $2.88.  Ruffles chips $2 my favorite chips, but they are so pricey, which ok because then I don't eat them that often.  Gain Dish soap $.97 used $1/1 from the Sunday inserts!! Jet Dry $2.97 used $.40 boy is this stuff pricey!!  Cantaloupe $.99 each.  Bic pens $.50 I price matched Shopko's ad and used $1/2 coupon...  free.  Price matched Piggly Wiggly milk ad for $.99 a gallon.  Also price matched Festival foods $.99 colgate toothpaste and used $1/1 from the Sunday inserts. 

Thats all from last week.  I just went over the ad's for this week and there isn't much for sales.  I might not even go to Pick N Save on Wednesday for double coupons.  

I have to get to work now, however after work I'm hoping to share with you the few things I picked up Rummaging this week.  If I feel like it after work I will be making Salsa...  my first attempt!!!  Should be interesting.

I Just Want You To Know by Kate Gosselin Book Review

I Just Want You To Know: Letters to My Children on Love, Faith and Family by Kate Gosselin.  Really short read.  If your looking for dish that you didn't already know, this is not the book for you.  There are letter written by Kate for each one of her children.  The letters are sweet, however they feel like she is trying desperately to  convince everyone including the children that she knows her kids.  I don't know how she could when she is on the road being a celebrity, giving inspirational speaker, dancer and book writer.  I understand and give her credit for working hard to provide for her family.  However there are lots of jobs outside the spot light to make money, including her career of being a nurse.

There was no mention of her divorce or if she is dating etc... 

The book feels like she wants the public to think she knows her children better then I think she really does and clearly a way to make money. 

I had this book on my request list at the library and it came in 2 weeks ago, of course it was a short rental of 2 weeks.  Right now I'm extremely busy helping my mom with her rental house.  More on that later.  But I really didn't have the time for reading a book.  But I did it, glad it was a quick read!!
