Cleaned out my Coupon Binder

I cleaned out my coupon binder, I had so many expired coupons.  I usually don't have that many except for Dec 31 is a usually a huge pile.  But this past month I was not shopping like normally, I didn't use that many.  So that's why my pile looked like this...
What a shame...  I really would like to cry because I didn't get to use them.  But I know there will be more!!!
One nice thing about the coupon binder now is it's really really light weight!!
I need to go to Couponkutters.com
and order more.  Love that site!!!

Wednesday Deals

Target deals: Fur Fighters are $4.99 and $3.99 use the $4 coupon from the Sunday insert 2 weeks ago.  I bought the $4.99 refill.  Hershey Bliss bagged candy is on sale for $3 I used $1/1 Sunday Insert coupon from a few weeks ago and $1/1 I printed a while back from Target (I don't know if this coupons is still available). Reveal light bulbs are $2.54 I used $1/1 Reveal coupon that was in the Sunday inserts 2 months ago and $1.50 coupon printed from Target  Then I bought GE Smart Energy bulbs that were $1.99 used $1/1 from the Sunday inserts 2 months ago and $2/1 coupon printed from Target  I can't tell you if these coupons are still available on the website.  Also the GE and Reveal coupons expire today!!!!  Nivea Mens body wash was on cleanance for $2.48 and I used the $3/1 coupon from last Sundays inserts and Nivea Women's body wash had a price drop to $3.99 and I used the $4/1 coupon from last Sundays insert so I got 4 body washes for free and actually I got the overage on the Men's washes. This is the coupons I used...
I also bought a small calculator from the Dollar Spot.  My total for everything was $4.42!!!  I saved $39.98!!!  Yah!!!

Pick N Save:
C&H Sugar was on clearance for $1.04 used a $.50 coupon doubled from Sunday inserts a few weeks back..  so I paid $.04 for 2 lb brown sugar!!
Jolly Time Microwave popcorn $1/1 each I used a $1/2 coupon from a promotion from Jolly Time it came in the mail... doubled, so free!
Ronzoni tortellini on clearance $1.49 no coupon, but still a good deal.
Capri Sun Sunrise $1.99 used $1/1 coupon from 2 weeks ago Sunday inserts, doubled so free!!
Red Baron Pizza on Sale $3.33 used $.75/1 coupons that were on a display a few months ago, these were doubled.
Spent $20.70 saved $27.35!!  A little better then 50%.

Walgreens:
Still can't find any $.49 cards, so I didn't buy any more.  Did get Infusion Leave in Treatment on sale for $4.99 used $3/1 coupon from All You Magazine last month and then the instore coupon for $2/1, so free.  How you have to buy something for a filler, because the register will not take 2 coupons when you only one 1 item.  So I bought a Lindt Truffle they have by the registers for $.39 each!! Yumm, my favorite candy of all time!!!

Walmart:
Had Bliss candy bars $.50 and I used $.55/1 coupon from the Sunday inserts from a few weeks ago.
The cashier took off the entire coupon so I got the overage!!!
Bought Tucks Take Longs for $2.74 and used $3/1 coupon I printed from the Tucks from Coupons.com  I don't know if this coupon is available any more.  I did not get the overage on these.  But they were free.
Red Baron Pizza's were $2.88 so I used the rest of the my $.75/1 coupons because they expire tomorrow.
I price matched a few items from Festival Foods and I bought flowers for the Mother in-law and mom.  We are taking mom out to eat tonight...  She will be here soon, so I better go get ready!!

Thrift Store Finds

Yesterday I also stopped at the Thrift Store and this is what I bought
Total from this trip $3.90
On the left in the ziplock bag are plastic cookie cutters (sell)
Vintage hook rug kit (sell)
2 Jello football mold (sell)
Vintage small mouth rubber rings (KEEP) I can't believe I found these.  I have looking for awhile.  I use vintage jars from Grandma with the glass and zinc lids for storage.  The glass inserts for these lids do not fit tight without the rubber ring. Now they are perfect..
Jar on the left has needles and white, black and red thread, also in there is my thimble and scissor.  This stuff is for the quick sewing fixes for buttons and small wholes.  The jar on the right has all my buttons.  I don't collect vintage buttons, but I do save all the extra buttons that come with garments and I cut off all buttons from clothes that become rags.

Walgreens Greeting Cards Cheap

Yesterday I stopped at Walgreen's after the taking Henry to the Vet.  Here is what I bought.
4 cans of Lindsay black Olives 2 weeks ago I printed 2 coupons for $1/2 any Lindsay Black Olives (I think it was off their website, but can't be sure).  Walgreen's has an in ad coupon for $.99 each.  I ended paying $.50 each.  Then they have a special on their greeting cards.  I bought 8 Graduation and Mothers Day cards (5 of the cards were $.99 cards and the others were $4.49. 1.99 and 5.59.  I received a $5.00 Register Reward. My total before coupons was $26, however after all my RR from last week and the Lindsay coupons my total was $5.83!!  Not bad for 8 cards and 4 cans of olives.  I think I will be doing this deal again, but I'm going to look for a store that had $.49 cards.  The store I was at yesterday only had $.99 cards and up.  I would like to stock up on Wedding and Sympathy cards next.

Free Mc Frappe Review

Henry had his annual check up and visit to the vet this morning.  By the way he is doing just fine, he did have a baby tooth pulled!!!  He's 3 years old and had a baby tooth yet!!  It was very loose and showing signs of infection, so out it came!!  He didn't even feel it.  Henry loves the vets office, so many dogs to sniff and play with, however today no one wanted to play with him.   Neither the Jack Russel (Ms Growly) or the Irish Setter/Golden Retriever mix (Mr. I'm So Scared)... poor Henry!!  Anyway 2 shots, a pulled tooth, 2 different butt checks, the cost came to $160, so to ease my pain I thought I would stop at McD's for my free Frappe.  This coupon came from their ad in the Sunday's paper 2 weekends ago.  I ordered the Carmel, very good.  This is the small I don't think I could drink a large.  It's much like an iced coffee.  Milk, coffee, ice, with whipped cream and caramel topped.   There are plenty of small ice chunks, they are very small... no worries they pass through the straw fine.  Would I order this again??  I wouldn't make a special trip, however if I was stopping there to satisfy the kids and didn't want food, shake or ice cream I would.  One thing I don't like about it is they don't have a decaf choice.  I would like that and would consider one of these more often.  I don't drink caffeine, I wouldn't have considered ordering one of these without it being free.  However I do NOT feel the affects of the caffeine.... good thing.  I stopped drinking caffeine about 6 years ago when I had headaches everyday.  It took 3 months away from caffeine for the headaches to stop.  But I feel a lot better and wished I would have stopped long before!!  Give it a try with your free coupon!!
