Nicci's Halloween Party 2010

Nicci' had her party last night.  We worked the entire day on the party.  First we cleaned, removed alot of unneeded stuff from the garage and then decorated.

Then we worked on the food and carved one pumpkin.

I made chocolate cupcakes (Duncan Hines) and home made butter cream frosting.  There were so good.  Punch and Taco dip.  There also lots and lots of candy, Sponge Bob Cheese Nips, carrots and celery.  The food is sitting on our work bench.  The benches are covered with 2 black sheets that reach to the floor, so I can hide stuff under neath.  The little dots on the "table cloth" (sheets) are orange paper punches and white wolf paper punches.  There are frozen pumpkin and bat plastic ice cubes floating in the punch.  The punch is random juices, 7-up and 50/50 soda.

Nicci is the one the floor, she is a rag doll.  This photo is taken before everyone had arrive.  However these are her closest friends.  They all looked great and they all had a great time!!!

Glow light tree!!  I hooked them on a black feather tree.  If any of our guests wanted one they picked one off the tree and cracked to light it!!  It was very cool.
"can you see it??"

Happy Halloween!!!

Fall Fun

Henry didn't know what to think about this huge blow dryer!!!  We had to much fun with this!

Action shot of Henry getting thrown into a pile of leaves.
Henry working hard to get out of the pile.

Ford is so adorable in the leaves!
Nicci and Ford having a good time in the leaves!

This is a huge pile of leaves.  It covers the entire garden.  It took Nicci, my mom and I 3 hours to rake and haul all of these leaves.
This is my husband on the tractor which is plowing all the leaves into the garden.
Yup randomness... my van!  Hey it's clean in this photo!  I really like my van.  It has 108,000 miles on it and it runs great.  It better because for what ever reason Ford doesn't produce vans any more.  So this is it, I have to take good care of it.

Don't Bet Against Me! by Deanna Favre & Angela Hunt

This is the latest book I've read.  Don't Beat Against Me by Deanna Favre.  It was a very good book.  It was written about 5 years ago so the latest drama with her husband wasn't in the book.  She started out talking about her childhood and how she met Brett as a teenager.   The beginning of the book focused on Brett, being a unwed mother and financial struggles.  How Brett, Brittany and her life changed when Pro Football came into their lives.  There are tips and signs to look for Cancer sprinkled throughout the book.  Deanna wrote about her feelings about finding the cancer, her treatment and how Brett, fans, friends and family stood by her.  She relied on her faith is a huge way.  There is a lot about her strength coming from her faith.  There are letters to her daughters and so much more.  It wasn't a tearful book which I thought it was going to be.  I put off reading this book because I didn't know I could handle it after my father passing away from cancer.  But I was able to handle it without tears.  Yes it brought back thoughts and feelings though.

Fridays Shopping

I went to the Piggly Wiggly to get the receipt straightened out.  They owed me $2.45.  See what happened is the person ahead of me used Food Stamps on their order and had $2.45 that wasn't covered by Food Stamps.  The cashier never charged that person the $2.45 so it was still owed and when I came through I was charged the $2.45 and my stuff was on their receipt.  It truly was the strangest thing. but it's straightened out and my credit shouldn't be charged anything but what I owed.

I stopped again at Walgreens and picked up Crest Pro Health $.99 after Register Rewards and I used $1/1 coupon from Sunday inserts.  Noxzema razors $.99 after Register Rewards and I used $1/1 coupon from Sunday inserts.  Then after I bought the first one there was a $2 coupon inside the package, which I removed.  So I went back a few times.  I made $1 on each package using that coupon.  Right Guard was buy one get one free and I used a $3/2 coupon printed from coupons.com so they were only $.50 each.

I received my coupons from couponkutters.com  so I had 10 $1/1 Mentos gum.  So I stopped at Pick N Save because they had them on sale for $1.  I walked in and saw they had 6 pack bottles of Roundy's soda for $.99!!!  So I picked up 3 6 packs of Rootbeer.

I stopped at Festival Foods for Mt Dew 6 pack of big bottles for $1.98.  Nestle fun size $1.88 and used $.50/2 coupon from a store display.  Lays chips $1.99 each.  Progresso soup $.99 used $1/4 coupons from Sunday inserts.  Cheese Nips $3/2 used $1/2 coupon from Sunday inserts.  Barq's 12 pack $1.98.  Old Orchard juices $.99.  7-up 2 liter bottles $.78 each.  Totino Pizzas $.88 used $1/5 coupons I printed from coupons.com  Westpac frozen vegetables $.69 each.  Milk $.98.  Now that I'm looking at the receipt I see that I was over charged 2 bags of peas.  I will have to have that adjusted the next time I get to town.  I spent $42 and saved $52.

I stopped at few rummage sales.  I only bought a few things and again I forgot to take photos.  I will try harder next time.

The Talk

The Talk is a new talk show with Sharon Osbourne, Julie Chen, Sara Gilbert, Leah Remini and Holly Robinson Peette.  I like it so far.  I think the group needs to talk more among themselves, so we can get to know them.  We only know them as their characters they plays.  Course with the exception of Sharon Osbourne, whom we know for the reality show the Osbourne, The X Factor, America's Got Talent and of course the short lived The Sharon Osbourne Show, whom we all feel like we know personally.  Do I have time to be a loyal watcher?  There is only so many talk shows a person can watch or follow.  I used to be a loyal watcher of The View and I rarely watch it any more.  The reason I'm not sure...  maybe just because I have other things I want to do in the day.  When The Vew gets headlines I usually just go to You Tube and watch what ever segment that is getting attention.  Like last week when Whoopie and Joy walked off the stage because of  Bill O'Reilly's calling Muslims the group behind 911 attacks.  I didn't watch that day I caught up on You Tube.  So will I be loyal with The Talk probably not.  As I'm writing this they are talking about when should you talk to your children about sex.  First they didn't take this topic as seriously as I think the topic should be.  Is this a topic a good topic for their opening show... probably not.  We as viewers need to get to know the group better before these types of topics should be talked about.  JMHO  I will watch tomorrow because Jennifer Lopez!

The Nate Show has been on for about a month now.  I don't watch everyday, but I do like the show.  I do have some things I need to talk about.  Like today I was disappointed,  Nothing really happened on the show.  I like Sally Field, who was his guess star, but why was she on the show.  They said that she has issues about letting items go because she wants to to down size.  We didn't see her house or her issues.  She talked about nothing really..  Nate then had a woman on that had issues with decorating her dinning room.  She hosting Thanksgiving since her grandmother is unable to continue the tradition.  So Nate gave her a dinning room table.  Which was lovely but it seemed like something was missing.  Giving things away to viewer is not a show in the making.  If he was to review a item on the show and then gave this item away to the audience would be interesting.  There is just something missing.  He had is mother on this morning on skype.  She seems like a lovely lady, but Nate is always talking about her, maybe to much.  Maybe she should be his costar on the show to give the show whats missing or what Nate is missing!

Piggly Wiggly Mistake & Wednesday Deals

I was going to write about my Monday trip to Piggly Wiggly, but when I started to look at the register receipt I noticed there were items listed that I didn't buy.  There was even Food Stamp used on there, which I don't use.  It's very odd because all the items I bought is on there and then there is another gallon of milk, hamburger, chocolate chips, vita. bananas, donuts and ortega items.  This is so strange.  Next time I'm in town I'm stopping there to straighten this out.

I guess I just have to check EVERY single receipt before leaving the store.  I usually don't check except for Walmart.  2 weeks in a row I had to go to the service desk after checking out to get an adjustment.  Last week I was over charged on a melon and lunch meat.   I added up to $3.50 and this week is was over $5 in charges for more items then I purchased.

Welmart deals: Items I price matched with Festival Foods..  Celery  $.68, Baby Ruth $1.88 used $1/2 off of smartsource.com or coupons.com Coke 12 pack $1.98, Progresso soup $.99 used $1/3 coupon from store display a few weeks ago, Asparagus $1.98 a pound, Totinos Pizza $.88 and used $1/4 coupons from  a store display a few weeks ago, Jacks Pizza $1.99 used $1/3 coupons from the Sunday inserts, milk $1.48 and frozen peas $.69 each.   Also bought Reach floss $.97 and used $1/1 coupons printed from coupons.com  Gain Dish soap $.97 used $1/1 coupon from Sunday inserts.  It was a good day price matching!!  I will be shopping a Festival Foods later this week.  I ran out of time to stop there today I had a doctors appointment.  Plus I'm waiting for coupons that I ordered from couponkutters  We didn't get mail on Monday because of Columbus Day so my coupons are taking longer this week to arrive.

Walgreens Halls Refreshers Free after register rewards and $1/1 coupon from All You magazine.  Crest Pro Health toothpaste $.99 after register reward and then $1/1 coupon from the Sunday inserts, so free.  Oral B Advantage toothbrush $.99 after register reward and then use $.75 coupon from the Sunday inserts so only $.25 each.  But you can only do the Crest or Oral B per transaction, they are made by the same company.  Right Guard deo is B1G1 Free and I used a $3/2 coupons.com so $.99 for 2.

Pick N Save the first trip was fun!!!  It was only $8.90 for 4 boxes of Chocolate Cheerios, 8 boxes of Hamburger Helper, 4 boxes of BC potatoes, and 5 Pillsbury Grands.  I used 4 Cheerio coupons I printed from coupons.com   and smartsource.com  $.75/1.  I used a $.75/3 coupon from shelf display and then I used a $.30/2 from the Sunday inserts.  All the rest of the coupons from from a store display from a few weeks ago.  My total was only $8.90 and I received a $10.00 catalina coupon!!!   Their deal was buy $25 of General Mills/Pillsbury/Betty Crocker items and get $10 catalina coupon.  I was so excited.  Then I went back in and picked up A&H detergent $3.68 and used a $1/2 coupon that was doubled.  Baby Ruth $1.99 used $1/2 coupon printed from coupons.com  or smartsource, com  I can't remember which.  Mento's on sale for $1 and used $1/1 coupon from the Sunday inserts.  Colgate Sensitive toothpast $1.64 used $.75 coupons from Sunday inserts and the were doubled.  Roundy's cheese $1 no coupon.  International Delight $2.50 and used a $1/2 coupon doubled.  Then I used the $10 Catalina that I got the trip before my total then was $14.  I saved total today at Pick N Save $79!!!!! Spent a total of $23!!!  I had fun.  I was excited I forgot my coupon binder in my shopping cart.  The next store I went to I realized it was missing.  I prayed, hoped and crossed my fingers that it would still be there when I got back.. It was left in the cart 10 minutes and no one brought it in the store or stole it!!!  Unbelievable.  I know it probably is only important to me.  Anyway I was glad it was there.  Lesson learned.  To keep my head on straight even when I'm excited.

BJ and the Bear Greg Evigan

bAre you old enough to remember BJ and the Bear.  It was about a trucker and his chimp called Bear.  It was broad casted in the 1970's.  There was always a caper that needed to be solved, sexy women to rescue and bear was always in the right place and the right time to help.  I know cheesy, but I keep thinking about it and would love to watch some the episodes.  However it has not been released on DVD and the last time I looked I couldn't find any full episodes online.

But hey I always have this...

Greg's still hot after all these years.  This photo was taken in Iola WI in 2008 at the Carshow.  You are asking why he is at the carshow.  It's because of the semi he drove was restored and was on tour.

You might be saying he looks like the guy from the TV show My Two Dads, a show from the 1980's.  You would be right.  I liked that show too.  I just checked and my library system doesn't have that show.  At least I can buy it.  Not like BJ and the Bear,  Judging Amy, Third Watch Season 3 through season 6 and Party of Five from season 4 through 6. Are still not completely released.  Judging Amy hasn't had any of the seasons released yet.  I understand it has something to do with the music rights used in the show.  They are not released online so I can't watch them at all.   And the others are very slow to release the complete series.  I don't understand why.

I'm very disappointed in CBS, they don't show full episodes on their website.  Usually this doesn't matter to me.  But it's nice if I miss a show on ABC I can go to their website and watch it.  Well I watch all three of the CSI's.  I have been watching since day one of Las Vegas.  Well Miami was on Mondays and New York was on Wednesday's which is perfect for me because I rarely work on these days and there are broadcasted in the slot before the late news.  So I get to see the shows most of the time.  WELL some brilliant broad caster decided to move NY to Friday night and Miami to Sunday nights.  I work most every Friday and Sunday nights, so I will be missing them.  Which upsets me, there are so very little programing I actually like.  Now there are 2 less shows I will not be watching regularly.  Why would CBS move 2 popular shows to nights that are not the highest rated nights???  Are they trying to kill these 2 shows??  Early summer I saw the previews for Blue Bloods on CBS and I was excited because I really like Tom Selleck.  Come to find out the time slot if Friday night, so count me out for watching that show regularly too.  I also was disappointed in CBS for canceling Cold Case.  It was on Sunday's nights and every chance I got I would watch it.  They canceled after the season finale was broad casted, so the ending was left up in the air with the season finale.  No series finale.   I wanted to rewatch the finale and I couldn't because they don't have full episodes on their website.  Grr.  So anyway, hubby is working over time and I'm off tonight so I was home to watch Blue Bloods and CSI NY.  I like Blue Bloods wish I could watch it every week.  And what happened to Stella on CSI NY?  Why is she not on the show any more?  Her replacement is Sela Ward, I like Sela Ward, but she is more of mom figure then a science geek/cop.  I really liked Stella, I can't remember her real name, but she will be missed... when I get to see the show.

Your asking why don't I record it.  My DVD player doesn't record and we don't have a DVR.  I do have a TV tuner on my computer with a digital converter BUT now that the TV shows are in HD the sizes of shows are huge and take up so much of my hard drive.  I have a big hard drive but I have a hard time watching recorded TV before the next weeks show that they build up in my TV folder and it fills my hard drive so thats not working for me either.

Right now I'm watching Party of Five series, this show was broadcasted in the late 1990's and ran for 6 seasons.  The first 3 seasons are released on DVD.  The other 3 seasons don't have release dates yet.   But season 4 and 5 are online.  I couldn't find season 6.  The show is about 5 children ranging from 24, 15, 16, 11 year olds and a  new born.  They are lead by their 24 year brother who knows what he wants to do in his life however is held back time after time by his brothers and sisters whom he is their guardian.  Many of the situations are very real and are dealt with in real life ways, however they are times later in the seasons were the situations and the solutions are not in the real world. However by that time you are invested in each character, which keeps you watching.  It's weird to see Jack from Lost being Charlie in Party of five!!!  It's strange to see the other characters calling Jack, Charlie!  When Party of Five started Neve Campbell 21 who played Julia 15.  Scott Wolf was 26 and played Bailey 16.  Matthew Fox was 28 and played Charlie 24.  I couldn't believe Scott and Neve played such younger characters, they did a great job looking that young and their acting was spotless.  I can't believe how many guest stars on there went on to much better parts.  Hyde from Thats 70'a show, 2 actors from ER, and even Kate Hudson.   Even Carroll O Connor, he played Archie Bunker on All in the Family and was on the show In the Heat of the Night.  There were many more but I didn't keep track and my mind is drawing a blank.  I can't wait to see who else shows up on the show.

I know it seems like I watch alot of TV which I don't.  However when I have the DVD seasons from the library I have the TV on playing these shows continuously because I only have a week to watch a whole season before it has to go back.  So it's playing however I'm not watching...  I'm listening when I'm cooking, cleaning, couponing, blogging, doing wash and working on ebay.  So yeah I might be missing some episodes doing it that way, but I only have a week loan from the library.  Well now you know about my TV watching habits.  I know you were dying to know!!  LOL

Schick Hydro 5 Razor

Today I stopped at Walgreens, they have Schick Hydro 3 or 5 razors for $7.99 and they give you a $4 Register Reward and I had a $4 off coupon from the Sunday inserts.  So the razor is free.  I didn't get any of these coupons in my inserts for I bought some of these from couponkutters.com   I also bought some Nestle water, Kibbles and Bits coupons which I also didn't get in my paper.   I then also bought Dove candy, Starbucks Frappucinno and Jolly Time Popcorn coupons.  I did get these in my paper however I wanted more.  I have buying coupons from www.couponkutters.com for about a year, they provide a great fast service.

I stopped at Walmart to pick up some of the Nestle water.  Walmart has 28 packs for $2.88 each all the time and then I used the $1/2 coupons.  My husband provides water for his workers so I buy 6 28 packs a week.

That was all my shopping for the day.  However I did stop at a few rummage sales.  There are so few, I didn't go yesterday I just waited for today to go.  I bought an exercise bike for $10 it was like new.  Seriously the previous owner said it was only used twice.  I believe it.  Then I bought a pink Pyrex bowl, early readers books, 3 children's books on tape and that's it.  I forgot to take pictures!!  I know!  I have a brand new camera and I forget to take pictures before I put the stuff away.  I had a very busy day.  Yesterday I listed a bunch of stuff on craigslist.  I got in email this morning about a lot of air fresheners I listed.  The email was from the lady I bought Henry from.  So I emailed her and she said stop by after my shopping trip.  So I brought Henry a long so they could catch up with each other.  When I arrived I put Henry's leash on and we walked through their garage to the door going into the house.  What does Henry do??  They have a full length glass screen door.  Yup Henry goes running full boar into the glass door.  I'm glad it was glass because if it was a screen he would have gone straight through it. He hit the glass hard and bounced off it.  Rolled down the step, don't worry he's ok.  His previous owner asked how he was doing my response was "he didn't get any smarter"  LOL  We had a nice visit.  Henry got to spend some time with his former friend, Jack who is a bichon and their new dog who is also a bichon.  I think Henry is still happier with us.

So instead of going rummaging yesterday I cleaned and decorated the house for Halloween.  Here is a shot of the long shelf.  I like it, what do you think?

My New Camera Sony Cyber Shot H 55

Yesterday I was taking pictures for ebay and my camera wasn't taking good pictures..  Everything was coming out blurry.  I had noticed this  the last week or two that taking photos at night was getting harder to get a clear shot.  Well yesterday none of the pictures were clear, even during the day.  So I took my items outside since it's to nice and the sun is out.  Well, that didn't work all the pictures from outside were white.  I couldn't see even a shadow of the item.  So I jumped in the van and went right to Best Buy and bought a new camera.  They had plenty of cameras on clearance but I wanted the best camera for night shots.  I'm so sick of retakes for ebay and when I have an event at night the pictures were not turning out.  So I bought the top of the line Sony Point and Shoot that Best Buy had.  The price was $229 but it came with a extra battery, 4G memory card and a case.  This stuff was a $55 value.  Nothing wrong with that.  I had $125 in Best Buy rewards from my credit card I put the balance on my card so I will get 4 points per dollar.  Yea!  I might have gotten a better deal online somewhere, but I needed a camera last night.  My daughters camera died a month ago or so, so I couldn't use hers and I wanted to work on ebay...  but I needed a camera.  I was very very sad to say good bye to my old camera, we have been together through it all...  We started together on ebay together and through how many Christmas's birthdays etc..

Good Bye old friend

Hello New Friend

Sony Cybershot H55
I will do a better or a full review on this camera once I get used to it.  But these are my reasons for buying this camera.  The shutter speed is fast which helps with action and night time photos.  The night time photos are very important to me.  So far so good.  It comes with a rechargeable battery.  I liked my last camera because it has a similar set up and I it held a charge along time.  So that was the reason I like the battery it comes with, plus I got the bundle I mentioned before.   The battery door is sturdy and easy to use.  Not like the Easyshare camera's I hate the battery door, I feel like I'm going to break it off so that is why I didn't even consider the Easyshare cameras.  It has a 3 inch screen and it's a panoramic camera.  I haven't used that yet but it sounds really cool.  I have probably taken 50 photos on it so far and the only thing I found wrong with it is.  The handle strap gets in the picture.  I had never put my handle strap on my old camera so I'm not used to it.  So that and Henry getting his head my photos are the only reason I had to retake any of the photos so far.  Nothing really having to do with the camera.

Sales

I have sold so many things this week.  I'm having a hard time keeping track, but I think I'm doing it.  I took a bunch of stuff out of my store which had been in there for over a year.  Those things I took to the rummage sale.  Only a few of those things didn't sell and will go back in the store.  So I have been deleting things right and left.  I also have had quite a few things sell out of my store too.  I love it!!  Plus I have been selling things on ebay.  Today when I sat down with my blog and scanned the last things I talked about I saw photos of stuff that I have already sold.  So things that you see available might not be any more.  But I will be listing more stuff this week.  Don't worry I have plenty of new stuff to put in my store.

This was going to be listed on ebay...

Isn't he adorable... scary!  However I can't find a shipping box.  I went through my boxes and nothing big enough.  Then I went to my moms huge stash of boxes and I found one that would work.   So I got busy and started a listing on ebay and got to the part shipping part and things fell apart.  The box was only a few inches bigger then the blowmold, however the shipping for this item in that box would have been $96!!!!  NO kidding.  I was shocked, I mean shocked.  Ok, no way will that sell with that shipping.  So I played with the shipping calculator and if the box was 2 smaller the shipping would be less then $20 depending on where it was shipped to.  I can't cut down this box.  I have to find a new one some where.  I had to be exact or it won't work.  Well wish me luck, I only have a week or 2 to find one or it will be to late for the auction to run and have it arrive on time for Halloween!!

This week should be getting back to normal.  My posts should even out.  Take care until next time!

Goodwill Friends and Family Night

Remember these drawer storage carts that I replaced with chrome shelving.  Well 2 weeks ago I listed them on Craigslist all 11 for $40..  what a deal.  Of course they were gone the first day.  In the ad I stated I wanted to sell them all together for $40.  First email asked if I would take $30... what??  No, $40 was a great deal, plus it was the first day of the listing.  Then the second email was are you willing to separate them.... What??  Can't they read??  No!  I was getting discouraged.  I know they can read, but it didn't seem like it.  The third email was a winner.  They came took them all and gave me 2 twenty dollar bills.  Bless you and thank you!  These people were so nice, we stood outside and talked for quite awhile.  Their 3 children all have disabilities and one works at Goodwill.  We talked in length about that and other area Thrift Shops.  Of course Goodwill is the best of all the stores for preowned clothes and this couple offered me a pass for Goodwill Friends and Family's.  Of course if I wasn't working I wanted to go.  So after all the Rummage Sale this weekend we ended it with a trip to Goodwill.  Actually the end of the day was a stop at A&W for a free Root Beer Frenzy. (it was ok, I don't think it tastes much like Root Beer) I had coupons from the Newspaper ad.  Anyway back to Goodwill Friends and Family, I got 15 pieces of clothing and a few other items for $48!!!  That was 3 tightly packed bags.  I got name brand jeans for Nicci, my son and I.  Plus a few tops.  I love name brand preowned clothes.  I had fun.  No pics of what we bought.  I was tired after all that and yesterday I threw everything in the wash....  Next time I will try hard to remember to take pictures.

Homecoming

Of course Nicci's first homecoming happened last week too.  So there were outfits to put together and school activities to go to etc...  Crazy week!!
This is the back of the Homecoming T-shirt.  See the ghost and the bird bath, my daughter created this!!!  I'm so proud of her.  Our school is the ghosts and the team they were playing were the cardinals.  The ultimate bird bath... get it.  By the way sadly they did lose the game...
The T-shirts are produced by the Graphic Arts after school organization.
Isn't my baby grown up??  The dress and shoes were less then $50!  Nope none of it was preowned, just on sale. The next dance is the Winter Formal and she already has her dress for that and it is preowned.  I'm so proud of her because she is willing to go preowned for formal wear!  Way to go Nicci.

After the football game one of Nicci's friends had a sleep over and then after the dance on Saturday I hosted the sleep over.  It was so cool to listen to the girls after the dance!  How it brought back memories of when I was in school.

The Rummage Sale

The rummage sale was at my aunt and uncles home in a near by town.  Since mom and I both live in the country and have sales here don't do well we take everything over there for their sale.

I put the ad on Craigslist and then I took the higher price things and posted those things individually with the address of the rummage sale.  I think it worked.  All high priced items sold except for my desk.

Believe me Craigslist ads works.  We had a guy stop Thursday morning that read about the sale on Craigslist, he bought $400 worth of stuff.  Mostly the vintage antiquey stuff.  His truck was full.  He made offers on entire tables of stuff!!  It was awesome and a bit strange.  But hey if he wanted it I didn't have a problem.  He said that he was selling on ebay.  We didn't tell him that we all sell on ebay and most of the items he was buying were already tried on ebay.  Was that not the right things to do???  This was the first full day of selling and we gave him deals, I guess I don't feel bad because he could see what he was buying.  Anyway give me your thoughts??  Back to the sale, of course since this guy bought entire tables and it was only Thursday morning we had to back home to get more stuff.  We sold so much stuff it was crazy.  I made $400 in all 4 days and our over all sales were $1,500.
We used 27 tables for this sale!!
We still had a truck load of stuff that went to the Thrift Shop.

First trip to my aunts I bought 12 totes of stuff and a some things that didn't fit in totes. Then I came home for 4 more totes of stuff on Thursday and Friday.   I brought home 5 loosely packed totes of stuff.

Gosh!

I can't believe it's been 9 days since I last posted.  So much has happened.  I've shopped, had a 4 day rummage sale, went to Goodwill's friends and family night, homecoming, had a great week in my store, and sold a bunch of stuff on ebay.  Well lets get started and catch up!

Last weeks shopping trip took place on Tuesday because Wednesday was set up day for the rummage sale plus we opened for a few hours.

Walmart Price matched $.29 eggs from Festival Food ad.  Price matched Milk $1.69 and $.69 a pound Broccoli with the Piggly Wiggly ad.  Price matched Aldi's ad for Cantaloupe $.99 each.  Then I stopped at Festival Foods Mountain Dew 2 liter $.29 with store coupon.  Lasagna noodles $.88 with store coupon.  My favorite frozen pizza is Good n Garlic Chicken..   They are to die for.  $2.45 each with store coupon.  That is more then I usually pay for pizzas, but they are so done good!  More of the $.29  eggs.  A gallon of chocolate milk $1.88 both my kids were happy, I bet it's been years since I bought chocolate milk.

That is it for my shopping trip last week.  I was in a hurry and I didn't get to double coupon because I shopped on Tuesday.
